One year of not Writing Anything
BTW, I remember that this blog got me in trouble with my work before. It was a lesson learned but I'm glad someone is reading this from another part of the planet. It just made my blog more intriguing I guess.
I got to go back to watching Califonication. That show got me hooked on blogging again. I never thought that writing on a blog could buy you a Porsche. I guess that only happens in Hollywood.
As my favourite Starcraft2 commentator, Huskystarcraft, would say... I'll see you guys... Next time.

Life in the First World
It has been my dream to go to a developed country ever since I graduated. Live in a safe, clean and livable environment. I was very lucky enough to land a permanent visa in one of those developed countries called Australia.
It's been a year since I lived here and so far so good. First, I lived with my cousin for ten months and when it was time to live with myself I rented a room near my work. Then, I immediately bought myself a house and car with the help of my nephew, who is a broker. I was living happily with my new home which I filled with nice appliances, courtesy of the First Home Owner's Grant Boost.
I also met new Filipino friends about my age. I was always happy to see them and speak our native tongue. I just met them recently and since then I was glad I could express myself again. We played basketball every Saturday and sometimes have drinking nights. I was glad that I found them because they have become my pillars that hold my insanity.
I am waiting for my wife now. She will come soon to live with me. I will have to teach her the ways that I have learned here. I will always be thankful to the people who has taught me the ways of this great country and it is time for me to do the same to my wife. She will have to endure what I have endured and learn what I learned ( I am speaking about driving here!). I am sure she will have a great time living here with me.

Cavaliers Lost, A King Dethroned
I would be heart broken if I were Le Bron. If I were him I would cry and if I were him I would blame nobody but myself.
Poor Cavs, the favorite of many people because of the greatness of Le Bron. He fell short on challeging the Lakers for the Finals. You know what Le Bron does not have that Kobe and Jordan has? They have Phil Jackson. Yes, a great coach. A coach who can adjust his players to counter the attack of the opposing team. A coach who can make a team play rather than relying on one man to do his job.
Comparing him to Jordan has not done very well with James. Yes they share the same famous 23, but still Jordan has a greater 23 than him. What I mean is he can do successive championship rings that no one can match. Kobe isn't bad either. Thanks to their pimp Phil Jackson.
Le Bron your time is up, get to work and get those rings. You may still have a lot in you, you may be young, so please grow up. You need to control your energy and start learning jump shots and fade away jumpers.
Dunks, drives and passes are effective but those fade away jumpers are killers. They are simple but hard to defend. I just love it when Jordan or Kobe does it-graceful, simple and effective. When you hear the 'SWOOSSH!!!', it is music to the ears. The way Le Bron does it is "BANG!!!" -so destructive, chaotic and complicated.

Here Comes the Train

Finally the train arrived!
The cash train I am referring to is my job, I have been jobless for almost a month last April. Everyday I prayed that one day someone will give me a job or I would get my job back. That was a really depressing time for me, but I survived.
Being out of job made me realize that life sometimes really is down. It is like a wheel constantly spinning. Sometimes you are lucky and sometimes you are not. Sometimes you are doing fine then sometimes it is not. Whatever the case maybe, I learned that even you are down in the darkest days of your life, there will always come a time that the sun will shine. God has given us rain in order for things to be alive but he does not allow it to rain everyday. The light will eventually come just as morning brings us a new hope.

Morning Star

I always believe in myself,
Sometimes I believe too much.
I know I needed help,
someone I could keep in touch.
I feel alone in this new world I'm now
struggling to fit in; myself, I could not express .
like a sparrow in a group of crows,
I am constantly sad and helpless.
I keep telling myself I will survive,
I will live on, I will not hide.
For I am strong as long as you are,
be strong for me, my Morning star
I will wait for you to come,
praying, hoping and believing
Arriving after the setting of the sun.
I will be faithful to you, my everything.
Oh morning star, I know you are waiting for me
you wake me up and shine on my dark room
In order for me to see
that you will always come after the gloom.

A Glimmer of Hope
Hope that one day my wife and I will be together again here in Australia. Hope that her visa will be approve. Hope that happens soon.
Hope that I could have a more stable job. Hope that one day things won't be slow. Hope that I could be happier.
People today needs hope. It's all they have to have to reach their dreams. Things sometimes does not turn out the way we hoped for. We must always be strong for trials are there to test us and make us stronger.
Loneliness sometimes gets to me. I cry every night when I am alone. The tears running down my cheeks are not tears of pain nor joy. It is a tear of hope. I cry so God may hear my prayers more because I know He might be busy listening to billions of prayers.
I write this blog with because I won't lose hope. I am positive.

Weddings are forever

I love wedding especially if it's my own wedding. I am happy that my wedding was over and also happy that it went well.
13 December 2008, a very special day and a milestone in my life. As a first time husband to my first time wife, I vowed in front of 350 guests inside God's house that I would always love my wife for richer and forr poorer until death do us part.
I am really happy during my wedding in general. I think we had a grand wedding complete with entourage and nice reception. God knows how happy I am that I found a wife that I could cherish for the rest of my life. I can't wait to have my own family.
I will be back to Australia and start to work hard for the arrival of my wife. I will pave the way for our future and work hard to provide for her needs.

My Little Laid Back Aussie Life

I celebrated my birthday here. It was nice because my fellow mates in my office bought me a cake and we had a little chit chat during the afternoon break. It was definitely different here because where I came from its usually the birthday boy who treats everybody in the office. I never lost that tradition, I treated my relatives to dinner that night.
I love fishing. Its really fun! My niece took me fishing at Barwon Heads and it was nice. I love the serenity of the bay while the fishes nibble on my bait. I caught a Ling fish and it was a great sight. My mates were also happy for my first fish. It was really beginners luck. The most thing I love about fishing was the beer inside the cooler. It was so manly and refreshing. I would do it again and again. I think I found my calling.
I will be back to the Philippines for my wedding. I am really excited for my wedding. I will take my wife in Australia and live happily here and also my kids to be. I am really excited about my future here. I wish all my friends and family could experience this. I am having the best times of my life.

Welcome to Australia

I arrived in Australia not knowing what is in store for me. I researched the kind of lifestyle of the Aussies but I think experience is still the best teacher. My goal is to be rich and provide for my future family.
I was not lonely in Australia because my cousins were here to take care of me. I was fortunate to have them and I also gained friends instantly.
I was in love with Australia ever since. We had an instant connection the moment we met for the first time. We never had dull moments and we always have something to do. Boredom was not an issue with us and being laid back is a passion. Australia has been nice to me and I promise to take care of the trust it gave me for the rest of my life.
I can't wait to petition my fiancee back in the Philippines. I miss her so much but sacrifices has to be made in order for goals to be met. I am strong and I know we will see be forever again very soon.
I love you Australia, thank you for the hospitality!

Goodbye DLS Philippines
I already said goodbyes to my friends and colleagues. I am happy to hear that they will also miss me but I will miss them more. I will be leaving them today but their memories will stay with me forever.
Another Milestone in my life has just ended. I look forward to the new challenges Australia has to offer. I am always GAME to face life's trials and PUMPED up to face challenges. I am ready to stand up in every FAILURE and be the MAN that this world requires. I can never ACCCEPT failure because I am AFRAID to lose. AUSTRALIA get ready for me, I am coming to conquer my dreams.

Australian VISA: Granted

There was utter silence when the news arrived last Thursday. Ellen Pantaleon has called me to tell me the news that my Class BN Subclass 136 Skilled Independent Visa has been approved. I was so happy to hear it. I was speechless at first and it was a great moment. Another successful milestone in my journey called life.
The next day I gave a letter of resignation to my boss. He was shocked of course, but he wanted me to be in Davis Langdon Australia. He was a great boss and I am sure I will miss him. He was so professional and cool when problems arise. He laughs at problems and during meetings everyone listens to his advise.
I went to Church with Morning yesterday and the Homily really suits what I feel. I got what I prayed for but of course it is only the start of a new life in Australia. It will be an endless cycle of wanting to have more and being burdened with all the struggles in life. I know God will only be the one who will give me rest. I hope my life and my journey will be a fruitful one.

Aussie's Here I come
I went to Respall today to submit my birth certificate. It is the only lacking document I need. I would like to thank Marifel of NSO's director's office for her assistance. Dreams are beginning to be real now.
I would like to share this to anyone. If you have a dream, don't waste your time Sleeping. Wake up and work your Ass for it. Failure may come but consider it as part of the challenge. We all know that the World likes winners but the losers that did not gave up are the greatest winners of all time.

Countdown to Migration

Two months from now I may not be around the Philippines. I am in the process of securing my visa to go to Australia. Thanks to my migration agent Mr. Respall.
I will be going to venture to a new world. A world where I will be the new guy. I need to fit in to a society which is very different in terms of race and culture. I have fear of not belonging but I know I won't be left out.
I will live with my cousins in West Victoria. They already have three rooms available for me. The rooms belonged to my second cousins who have grown up.
I am so excited on my migration because I have prepared for it two years now. I spent a lot to be there and waited so many months. My fiancee also is excited about going there. We will live a new life there and will try to make our new world almost perfect.
I have so many plans and so many goals when I go there.
1. Save for our nice wedding
2. Save for our new family business
3. Be financially free.
4. Take care of our obligations in the Philippines.
This plans will have a deadline of 5 years from the time I land in Aussie soil.
