My Birthday has passed!

My birthday was last sunday 07 October 2007. It was a happy birthday because there was a big event boxing match between the Philippine's Manny Pacquiao and Mexico's Barrera. My family shared the day with me and together with some friends and relatives. It was really a great day for me and I truly feel that I am not alone in this world.

Though I am not a perfect person but I try to live my life perfectly. I may not have all the riches in this world but I am rich enough to enjoy what little I have. I guess life has truly gifted me enough and God has blessed me so much. I have learned to be patient and assess things. I also learned that if I do not belong to something I would grab anything that will come my way. I truly believe that whatever I am doing, it will become meaningful someday. Every little step of the ladder is a sure step to success.

I love what I do and where I belong. I love my fiancee, my family, my work, my friends. I cannot be happier. I know that I am destined to be great someday. I am inspired by the story of Jesus who began his public life only on his thirtieth and maybe that age would also be my age where I would start to be successful.

Australia wait for me next year.

I proposed for marriage

That's right I proposed for marriage last 10 August 2007. I proposed to the only girl that I want to spend my whole life with. She has been my girlfriend for six years and will soon be my partner in life. Tentative day of marriage is January 2009. Here's how I proposed:

The ring:

The ring was brought by my sisters. I let them choose it because they have such excellent taste in jewelries. It was expensive but the joy it will bring is -priceless.

The date:

I chose the 10th of August because it was the day before her birthday, which was also the day I first professed our love six years ago. The venue was at Cafe Ysabelle at Greenhills, San Juan Metro Manila. The venue was classic and romantic. Fine dining and piano brought out the ambiance for such a romantic event.

The proposal:

The proposal was a bit sluggish. I brought out the gift box from my pocket and told her that I have a gift to her. After I hand over the ring, I told her that I want to marry her. She did not answer at first because she felt embarrassed with the people watching us. I too felt embarrassed but I did not care. I only cared for her answer.....which was YES!
